Fintech Operations Associate
Treyd is a highly successful fintech that lends money to businesses across Europe. To keep our fast growth going, we need to assess trade and loan documents quickly and consistently. The Operations Associate is a critical role in this, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, including data entry and verification. The role requires an energetic individual that can cope with a higher volume of smaller tasks without losing focus on the details, as well as the ability to collaborate remotely with other teams in Stockholm and London.
Key responsibilities
Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Verify the accuracy of invoice data and identify discrepancies, following up with other team members to resolve any issues.
Conduct initial online screening of new and existing suppliers, collaborating with other team members to investigate discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supplier and receivable invoices, debt collection claims, and supplier screening.
Help to continuously improve and streamline back-office operations processes to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Skills & Requirements
University degree or equivalent; additional education in accounting, logistics, business administration, banking or related field is a plus.
At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on data entry and verification, preferably in an international setting.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data and documents.
The ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, and have initiative to work independently but collaborate with others when needed.
An imaginative mindset that can dream of ways to help us continually improve.
Experience with AI-driven processes is a plus.
